Year Round Overall Skin Care Tips:
2) Use lighter lotions on your body and face during the Spring and Summer, especially oily areas such as the shoulders and t-zone on the face.
3) Use thicker, richer lotions on your body during the Fall and Winter. Your face may not need a change in products each season. If your face tends to get dry around the mouth, chin, eyes, dab a little more of your usual moisturizer in those areas.
4) Unscented lotions and soaps aren't just for those with allergies and sensitive skin. Give a few items a try even if you have normal or combination skin. Without scented lotions, you'll be able to smell your soap or body wash all day!
5) My face tends to break out both when my skin is too oily or too dry. During the winter months, I use cool to lukewarm water to wash my face. In the warmer months, I use lukewarm to warm water to wash my face. This makes a HUGE difference.

**If you are allergic to Shea / Shea butter or it's derivatives, you may want to avoid Shea Moisture products. Also, if you have nut allergies, you may want to read Shea Moisture product labels, paying attention to the ordering of each ingredient. Smaller amounts tend to be towards the end of the list. With any new products, you should test them in a small area on the inside of your arm before using on your face and body. If an allergic reaction occurs, discontinue using the product!
