Braid Out on Fine Colored Locs | Easy Dreadlock Styles

Hey guys!  I haven't worn a braid out on my locs in a very long time.  I decided to change that this past weekend and set my hair in large braids once my freshly washed hair was about 75% (seventy-five percent) dry.  I used three (3) locs per braid to give my hair more fullness and texture.  I have enough locs to make both braid outs and twist outs with ease; I only had one braid created with four (4) strands.

I kept my braids in for one day or 24 (twenty-four) hours.  Instead of keeping my braids in for a few days, I set my hair for a much shorter period of time.  The eczema on my scalp is maintained since I wash my hair every three (3) to four (4) days, using SheaMoisture African Black Soap Body Wash on my scalp.  I rinse my locs / strands thoroughly with water and conditioner and use shampoo every few weeks.  It's much too drying to use shampoo on my locs / strands every three (3) days.  I discuss my hair care products in detail here:  Hair Products for Colored Locs and Eczema Relief.  Now to my braid out results!

Hope you all enjoyed this hair update and style!  Thanks for reading and see you in my next post. ♥
